Venturers
Venturer Scouting is for young people aged between fourteen and eighteen and recognising that they are older and maturer than the Scouts the Venturers are expected to take much more control over their activities. The aim of the Venturer Scout Unit is to provide the young people with experience of belonging to a group with a firm purpose and the opportunity of exercising leadership. The outdoor activities are more adventurous but as in all of scouting the code of behaviour and responsibility is reinforced by the Scout Promise and the Law.
2nd Mornington Venturers meet on Monday evenings at SSS Seafire at 1900 (7:00 PM).
